Larks lose again to Broncos

EL DORADO — The Hays Larks were swept in a two-game series against El Dorado, losing 5-4 Saturday night.
Hays has lost four of its last five heading into tonight's Jayhawk League game at Liberal. The Larks also lost 5-4 to El Dorado on Friday.
El Dorado scored three runs in the fifth to erase a 3-1 Hays lead. The Broncos added two more in the seventh.
Hays starter Bob Reifschneider took the loss. Reifschneider (1-2) gave up four runs on nine hits, with two walks and five strikeouts.
Kevin Russo went 2-for-5 with a run scored for Hays (13-9 overall, 8-8 Jayhawk). Nolan Reimold, Warren Schaeffer and Hunter Mense each drove in a run.
El Dorado starter Jason Bleeker claimed the victory. Matt Green, the Broncos' third reliever, got four outs for a save.
