Larks game rained out

The Hays Larks nonleague game at the Newton Bandits Wednesday night was rained out.
The game will not be rescheduled.
Hays, which is 14-2 overall and 8-2 in league play, will host Jayhawk League rival Liberal Friday and Saturday for a three-game series. The two teams will play a doubleheader at 6 p.m. Friday, followed by a single game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Join the team both nights for “Party at the Park.” Several prizes will be given away both nights during the games, and beer will also be sold for $1.
Saturday’s game is also “Old Timers Night.” Former Larks from the past 50 years — including some former opposing players — will be honored at the game and at a noon luncheon at Thomas More Prep-Marian High School.
