Larks rained out again in Nevada

NEVADA, Mo. — For the second straight night, the Hays Larks were rained out.
Tuesday’s Jayhawk League doubleheader was postponed by rain, and the Larks and Griffons tried to get in a single game Wednesday after deciding not to try to play the scheduled doubleheader. That game was called in the third inning with Hays leading 1-0.
Hays (14-6 overall, 10-6 Jayhawk), second in the Jayhawk standings, will play at league leader Derby (15-6, 12-5) Saturday in a 6 p.m. doubleheader.
