 RUNNERS UP
Hays finished second to a very powerful Havasu (Ariz.) Heat team Sunday in the championship round of the NBC World Series at Lawrence Dumont Stadium in Wichita. Havasu pounded out 17 hits and claimed a 14-2 decision for the title. The runner-up finish for the Larks was the fourth in Hays' history. Four Larks earned All-American honors: Eric Morrison, Ricky Angel, Brad Hutt, Mike Brownstein
